Report on the Conferring Ceremony of the International Knightly Order of St. George 22nd April 2007, Máriapócs / HUNGARY


On the 22nd April 2007 the International Knightly Order of St. George organised a spectacular Knight Investiture in Máriapócs / HUNGARY.

Previous to the ceremony on the 21st April a celebration took place in Nyírbátor on the occasion of the 78th Birthday Anniversary of H.E. Major-General Dr. János Karászy-Kulin MVO GCStG GCLJ HonLLD HonHLD – Grand Master of the International Knightly Order of St. George.



On Sunday, during the conferring ceremony H.E. Major-General Dr. János Karászy-Kulin – Grand Master inaugurated 26 new knights. On this special occasion and during this high-level event the new flag of the Order was sanctified.

Sir Dr. András Czapáry-Martincsevics, KCM – Country Representative of IBSSA for Hungary was present at the ceremony as Honorary Guest in his position of Bailiff for Northern Hungary of the “Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories” and also Regional Prior of the International Knightly Order of St. George.
He was awarded with the Grand Cross of the International Knightly Order of St. George.
