The International Parliament for Safety and Peace (IPSP), which is an Intergovernmental Organization of States, held the XIII Conference on Security of the Mediterranean region between 23rd and 24th September in Palermo / ITALY.

The 2 days conference has been filled with very rich programme - more than 70 lectures. The central issue of the event was: How to save the historical and cultural values of nations, and how to prevent them from any damages. The official language of the conference was Italian.

Because of their knowledge and experiences the Italian delegations could give a lot of very interesting lectures collected in the book of the conference.

Prof. George Popper - President of IBSSA sent a greeting to the Conference, because he was not able to attend the event as the same date IBSSA held its 5th SEC-tember international training course, where Prof. Popper chaired the Closing ceremony and gave brief information about the next Congress of IBSSA.

IBSSA has delegated Dr. Anna Popper - Chairman of IBSSA Event Management and Protocol Department and Dr. András Czapáry-Martincsevics - Country Representative of IBSSA for Hungary, Chairman of IBSSA Technical Department to participate at the event.
The delegates met the highest officials and representatives of IPSP, even the Lord President Mons. Sen. Prof. Viktor BUSÁ, who has expressed his congratulations to the activity of IBSSA. The IBSSA delegation has also met Grand Prince de Kiev, Tchernigov et de Karatchev, Michel Karatchevsky-Volk from Ukraine and Mgr. Franck Schaffner the Archbishop of Antibes (from France), who have expressed the highest reputation of IBSSA.

We also greet our new friend Col. Giancarlo Giulio Martini, who is warmly welcomed in the wide IBSSA family.

All of them have highly appreciated the co-operation with IBSSA in the future like in the past.
