Creation of an IBSSA Intelligence Fusion Centre for the Olympics - 5 February 2014

Dear IBSSA Members,

we wish to inform you all that in doing our part to help protecting the international venue of the Olympics and Paralympics in Sochi, Russia, IBSSA is establishing a private sector intelligence centre in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA as a fusion centre for any security-related information on Sochi that any members of our association would like to forward to international security forces.

This centre is headed by one of our Executive Committee members, Mr. Karl DelaGuerra – Country Representative of IBSSA for the USA, and is opened 24-hours from 5th February (Wednesday) through 16th March 2014.

Utilizing our international resources, IBSSA has the unique ability to rapidly assess and forward information to appropriate security services all around the world. As security professionals we should all do our part to secure such an important international event.
