Report on the IBSSA Bodyguard Training Seminar 30th May - 1st June 2003 Potenza / South Italy


The 4th IBSSA bodyguard training seminar
was organised within 1 year by Mr. Enrico ROSA - Regional Representative
of IBSSA for Basilicata and Calabria. Hotel "La Maddalena" was
exclusively given for the disposal of the course and 2 special cars were
also assured for Mr. Roberto DE RONZI master teacher‘s lessons.
Participants of the course were qualified for 1st and 3rd level.


The event was honoured by Prof. George POPPER, GCKM - Executive President
of IBSSA and H.E. Prof. Rocco GIACALONE, Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary and Head of the Ceremonial of the "International
Parliament for Safety and Peace" (IPSP). Leaders of the local municipality,
the Mayor of the city also visited the event and they offered new training
facilities for IBSSA for permanent use. The proposal was warmly welcomed
by IBSSA.


On the 30th May there was a very high level ceremony on the occasion
that the respective leaders of IPSP and IBSSA signed the agreement on
long-term cooperation. This act was a milestone in the history of IBSSA,
as now IBSSA, its trainings and other activities are recognised by the
World Parliament.


Mr. Jacob Dupont JORGENSEN (Denmark) the General Manager of the famous
"Dupont design - defence system" and his Italian regional manager, Mr.
Luigi TAFUTO also visited the event. They participated at master teacher
Roberto GOBBI's shooting exercises and later introduced some of their
high-level military and special units products. The Executive President
invited them to Budapest for the II. "SEC-tember" IBSSA International
Special Security Training Course, which will be held between 10 - 14
September 2003 in Budapest / HUNGARY.


The Italian course was a great success, thanks for the IBSSA Master
Teacher "Super team"
