Report on the „IBSSA Cup 2014” Shooting Competition in Riga, Latvia on the 20 December 2014


Dear IBSSA members, the Country Representative Office of IBSSA in Latvia presents for your attention a report about the Practical Shooting Competition, “IBSSA Cup 2014”, which was held on the 20th December 2014 in Riga, Latvia.

The competition was organised in cooperation with the Latvian Practical Shooting Centre – a new, very good managed and technically equipped shooting centre in Riga. Many thanks to Mr. Olegs Prisakars, owner of the Shooting Centre for the great help, and kind assistance in organisation of the competition.

Mr. Harijs Jirjens was the Range Master of the shooting cup. He is also the regional director of IPSC Latvia, and a highly qualified person in shooting. We express our thanks to Mr. Harijs Jirjens for the perfect organization of the Range Officer's work:

For the competition three short practical shooting tasks has been built. These tasks were modelled for fast and expressive execution:

At the competition private shooters, representatives from security companies and also from police participated:

 

Special respect to the women competitors for the high level of sport condition and bravery:

The “IBSSA Cup” shooting competition is a great tradition in Latvia, which is also a good opportunity for sport celebration of shooters.

  

Winner of the “IBSSA CUP 2014” was Mr. Agris Zarinsh, who is a policeman and perfect shooter. Congratulations for the great result!
